" When I look at someone else's work, I always wonder who they are as individuals. If you feel it is you, keep reading below."
Photography has been part of my life for a very long time. My relationship with this art form can be compared to a roller coaster. Sometimes, I really enjoy taking pictures and feel full of joy while in other moments I barely touch the camera for months and wonder what's the purpose of it all. However, amongst all the interest I have in life, photography has been the most constant one.
I think, part of the reasons is that most of my interests outside photography aligns perfectly with photography. I’ve always loved being in nature. Not only is it beautiful, but it’s also essential to our very own existence. It's our home after all and that’s part of the reasons why I did my university studies in environment and work in that field. I need to protect it as much as being part of it.
In addition, for the last 20 years I have been traveling the world and the feeling and the joy that this brings to my life is still very difficult to describe. As soon as I land in new territories, I feel the flame reliving inside me and it gets stronger and stronger as the days go by. I actually feel like I am living life!
"That's me in action and fully concentrated..."

"Or, maybe not!"
I also have two kids that travel with us everywhere we go.
I am very curious person and I definitely like going on adventures. During a trip to Australia, my wife and I realized we had spent more than 40 days outside camping and hiking. It felt very good!
In the end, the things I love the most in life aligns perfectly with my love for nature photography. It’s as simple as that.
Oh! I should mention I am from Canada and live in the national capital region. We may not have crazy mountains or landscapes, but if you know where to look there is always hidden gems to be discovered.
"Enjoying the calmness and beauty that nature has to offer."
